Here's the thing I don't get: WB people say they love you and that's why they point out your sins. But why do they have to point them out in such an offensive way? Why say fag instead of homosexual? It makes no sense (not that anything they do does, of course). |

You don't get to pick and chose the stuff you want to follow. Silly Christians.
You have to pick and choose for two reasons:
1) Parts of the Christian bible contradict other parts or are mutually exclusive in other ways.
2) You have to pick and choose what translations and what interpretations you follow.
It is utterly impossible to avoid picking and choosing. Even those who adopt a rigid and downright sociopathic "literal" position are still doing the picking and choosing that they're criticising. They're just adding hypocrisy.
Random examples of the many ways in which the WBC pick and choose:
Members of the WBC frequently wear clothing of different fabrics. That's forbidden by the Christian bible.
Members of the WBC do not campaign to have cheeseburgers, lasagna, etc, banned, but the Biblical condemnation of mixing meat and dairy products is far clearer than the possible condemnation of homos |
