There has been no report that any oil spilled into the gulf.
The Louisiana governor's office said that the rig was non-producing, and the explosion occurred during some kind of maintenance work happening aboard the platform.

if a link has the words template in it.... well..
no leaks.. platform was not working at that time.. just some pipe on the platform burst and taht caused an explosion, just a very light oil film on the water, not too bad. |
