@Tedgp- please let everybody know that you are trolling. What kind of evidence was this conviction lacking? Specifically please.

tedgp, you are a total f***tard. You don't even know the definition of "circumstantial evidence." For your information circumstantial evidence is ANY evidence other than eyewitness testimony, and that includes, DNA, fingerprints, security camera images, blood and gunpowder residue on the accused as well as weapons found in his possession that match the murder weapons in ballistics tests. Also, there are over 100 eyewitnesses to his shooting spree!

Get a clue, @$$hole.

has anyone yet suggested that he tried to kill himself because he can't take the drugs anymore that the government is giving him? Or that they wanted to make it look like suicide so that he can't "talk" and tell anyone what the government did to him? conspiracy nuts... crazy.

I'm surprised no one else has mentioned anything about the CCTV footage of a prisoner diving head first into the toilet in his cell!

These suicide attempts sound conspicuously like a well deserved ass beating administered over a period of weeks.

he's a medical student. he could find a better way of killing himself, such as breaking his own neck or asphyxiation with a bed sheet. he may have done that not to kill himself but to avoid that court date.

ted, I've been on 2 juries, you're just being weird about our judicial system...which isn't even really so unique. Are we supposed to ban lawyers from existing? Even if everybody is randomly assigned a lawyer, there will still be good ones and bad ones.

You're just bloviating.

tedgp: How do you know what the nature of the evidence is? Are you involved in the investigation?

Circumstantial evidence is admissible in court, but you need much more to prove a case on circumstantial evidence alone. And then you need to convince a jury and all that.

------

Actually in the US, you just need the right amount of 'evidence' to get it into a court room. After that, its all about who the best lawyer is. Not what is fact and lies.

Why did they call him the joker when he didn't even have green hair?

That's not a suicide attempt! That's an "I'm going to act like a f*cktard so I can plead insanity" attempt.

That's why Casey Anthony did NOT get convicted on circumstantial evidence. It's really difficult.

I'm sorry, but flinging yourself to the floor from a bunk bed is not a suicide attempt...

So now tedgp thinks Holmes didn't enter that Colorado theater and kill all those people?

Congrats, tedgp--you've given me the heartiest of chuckles I've had all day.

Remember, there was no actual hard evidence that proves he did what he was accused of. All there was, was circumstantial evidence. But in the US, that seems to be enough to convict someone.
