This is not evidence for intelligent design. Intelligent design as proven a long, long time ago to be completely and utterly wrong. It's been wrong for over 200 years. It is an ancient argument proposed more formally and properly by William Paley. As passionate, and as logical as his argument seems, it's resoundingly false because evolution is the actual system where change occurs, not that this is where life comes from--but certainly every form is derived from an ancestral form. Nothing could be intelligent about that. |

I agree that the debate is a false one and holds us back. I don't care if someone believes in God or not. I'm just tired of ignorant attacks on evolutionary science, especially when it hurts basic education. |
