This is part of that "intelligent" crowd someone posted of how the smarter states voted for Obama. 90% of blacks or better, voted for Obama. Also go on to youtube and search for videos of those that voted for Obama. The Intelligence Quotient is not very high. |

Damn, I hate hearing sh*t like that, I know a few Vietnam Vets that I see all the time when I'm there. They really got sh*t on by the government with them trying to cover up the Agent Orange mess and now it's all coming back to haunt them. I have a feeling that's why, even though it still takes a ridiculous amount of time for VA disability claims to be processed, they're still approving more and than they used to. |

whodat: My dad is having multiple health issues now, he's a Vietnam vet, doctors say the agent orange and other defoliants have had long term problems for guys like him. He's also disabled and has to rely on the VA, but he also worked his whole life until a few years ago. |

@CrakrJak - I rarely see eye to eye with you anything but I agree with you on that. If you worked for it and are legitimately disabled then you've earned it, no one should be attacking you over that. The problem is that, unfortunately, many people find ways to abuse the system and those who have earned it, such as yourself, end up being unfairly lumped into that group of leeches.
I met a guy at the VA I became friends with who is in a situation like that and he's constantly having to explain his situation to people. He just turned 30, a little younger than me, and was a FAC in the US Air Force. Towards the end of his first deployment in Iraq their vehicle hit an IED and he suffered a traumatic brain injury. He functions fairly normal, he just has a horrible memory, forgets a lot of sh*t and has random blackouts. He's got a full ride from the gov't for the rest of his life and people still give him sh*t for it until they find out he's a disabled Veteran. |

p.s. In the words of my economics professor (along with data):
1) No matter who is elected, that person will not change the economy because U.S. has a free market system.
2) The market dips every 30 or so and then rebounds. Great Depression, 1980's dip and 2008'd loan debacle.
3) This past recession is the fastest rebound in the market in U.S. history.
4) U.S. has the highest (1st) GDP in the world (not per capita)
Per capita, 8th in the world.
5) Market fluctuations are influenced by supply and demand.
6) Since the U.S. was formed over 200 years ago, not one business has survived the entirety of 200 years because in the end, all business will fail due to obsolete products or services, unless it supplies luxury goods.
7) Do your own research and stop reading partisan blogs and watching the news (fox news, msnbc). Go to the official stock market a financial sites and compare data from the past 100 years. |

It's an old parody, and certainly there are black people who voted for Obama because he is half black. But whatever that number was, it was vastly outnumbered by the amount of white people who voted for Romney because he is white. |
