My friends go to school at Ole Miss. It wasn't a riot. It was some drunk freshmen yelling racial slurs and burning a sign. Of course the media is gonna make it out to be something else. |

I find this charge that Obama is partisan completely laughable. He has often enraged his party by seeking compromise with a Republican House that refuses to work with him. Has Crakrjak forgotten about the debt ceiling compromise, where Obama allowed the Bush tax cuts for the rich to be extended? |

Crakr: You're going to have a coronary if you keep up that degree of bitterness and cynicism for another 4 years. As HG has pointed out many times, the last 4 years have shown improvement in nearly every metric conceivable, albeit more slowly than we'd like (you blame Obama, we blame GOP obstruction). I respectfully suggest you try to be a bit more optimistic. I assure you, the next 4 years will not be disastrous, it's not the end of the world (assuming we survive 12/21/12, of course). Can you do that? Can you try to be a little less negative and caustic? |
