Wednesday, November 07, 2012 9:13:32 AM Driver and pilot error. @tedgp: huh? If you're driving a car, and proceed through a green light, and I run a RED light = your fault? @spermNinja: As @MeGrendel already pointed out: This is not a "public road" it's INSIDE the airfield's property! >See the fence?< So the car driver SHOULD HAVE KNOWN aircraft were a danger and driven accordingly. It's 100% car driver's fault. Blow a stop sign? Not look where you are driving? Your fault. |

Tuesday, November 06, 2012 9:54:11 PM Driver should have been aware and stopped. Plane should have pulled up. A plane can't just "pull up" in that situation. The engine is cut back to idle, and it's going just about as slow as it possibly can without stalling. If he had pulled back on the yoke, he might missed the car, but the wing would have stalled, and he would have immediately plopped down on the runway like a load of $#!+ from a tall cow's @$$. And hitting the throttle wouldn't have gotten him enough power soon enough to make any difference. And why is it that these stupid f***tards with the video cameras ALWAYS totally spaz out as soon as something interesting happens? |

Tuesday, November 06, 2012 9:42:41 PM Typical. The moment something important happens, all we see is grass and asphalt. |

Tuesday, November 06, 2012 8:14:13 PM I find the audio at the end ridiculous! The women filming and an unidentified man clearly shouting at the driver as to why they drove under the plane. Driver is at fault yes, but why is there a road there? |

Tuesday, November 06, 2012 6:52:23 PM Car seemed to slow down just enough to get in the way. Could of sped up or stopped with plenty of time to spare. |

Tuesday, November 06, 2012 6:25:50 PM seems the driver is at fault. they failed to observe the rules of the road telling them to stop. it is painted on the street to stop. just because there is not a metal sign does not mean you can just drive through it recklessly |

Tuesday, November 06, 2012 6:09:55 PM I think whoever put the road there should draw some of the blame. |

How do we know the car didn't hit the plane?

Tuesday, November 06, 2012 4:43:06 PM Pretty sure the driver is at fault here. One it says 'Stop' on the road, two I'm pretty sure planes are very loud, so why not stop and look to see where it was considering it was an airport. Its pretty common sense. |

Tuesday, November 06, 2012 2:42:11 PM This was not a 'road near a landing strip'. This was an access road that was part of the airport. |
