Thursday, February 21, 2013 3:06:37 PM I do, in a way. I do believe there is "ghosts and/or Angels" BUT the hole Ghost Hunters show they play on TV and most "ghost hunting shows" are fake and try and make all ghosts look bad. Not all ghosts are bad and want to hurt us, some are "angels" |

Friday, November 02, 2012 9:35:39 AM Maybe the anal probe aspect strikes more of a chord in men? If that were the case I'd assume you'd see it in more artsy educations as well, because that threat is (ostensibly) relevant to all men. |

Friday, November 02, 2012 8:03:54 AM This may provide a few hints. Fancy, what is more likely, that the order of the universe was suspended to move your fire-dog a couple of feet or that you moved it and forgot? After all, brain parasites are a real thing and ghosts aren't. Not saying you have brain parasites but you should maybe get it checked. |

Friday, November 02, 2012 7:12:00 AM The funny thing about supernatural belief, is that with a more scientific, analytical education, less men believe in ghosts than women, while more men than women believe in aliens. |

Friday, November 02, 2012 6:47:39 AM I don't believe, but I'd love to know why, from time to time, we hear someone walking up our staircase. "I seem to hear children giggling every time I touch myself." -Solvent Try closing the curtains. |

Friday, November 02, 2012 3:06:37 AM If ghosts are the best explanation you can come up with for the unexplained then you must have a very limited imagination. |

Friday, November 02, 2012 1:35:22 AM @markust: Things like that are why I've avoided the Ouija-board! I read Tarot cards with frightening accuracy, so I avoid doing that too! Far to scary. @cobrakiller: I'd post a picture of my brush laying in the bathtub, but I doubt it's be acceptable as "proof" @epiphany: There's brain-state in between awake and asleep that can cause what you've described. Sometimes called "waking dreams" they can seem 100% real, but like dreams they're bizarre! I cannot say this is "for sure" what happened, just offering a possible solution. @davymid: Are you suggesting I pushed the brush into the tub... with the power of my brain!?! <lolz!> @Solvent: you need to lower the volume while watching your kiddie-p0rn, eh? |

Friday, November 02, 2012 12:36:34 AM epiphany101 My partner had the same, she works long hours and often when every one else has gone home, she came home one evening, and swore someone said "where to" loudly in her ear, odd stuff indeed |

Friday, November 02, 2012 12:32:30 AM I work the night shift in a Victorian building, and I and the other three guys Im with have had countless weird things go on, air lines going off on there own, lights coming on and off, doors slamming, shouting from nowhere, the best was when we was all in the canteen celebrating a birthday, and one of the damn tables skittered across the room |

Friday, November 02, 2012 12:29:35 AM Carmium: at the time, we only had two men working there who would have fit the age profile & neither of them were in the office at the time. The office was key-card entry only, so no one could get in from off the street (I worked in a big newspaper). And the voice wasn't one I recognised - it wasn't anyone I worked with. I also *felt* it...it truly felt like someone was standing right there. I could feel air on my ear as whatever or whomever it was spoke. I could feel someone standing there (you know how you can sense someone next to you without seeing them?). I honestly thought there was someone there at the time, hence why I turned round. It was also very directional - it was in my left ear. I didn't hear it with my right. And the closest person sitting near me was quite a distance away. If they could throw their voice they would have to be extremely skilful...not only being able to convincingly alter the gender & apparent age of their voice but also to create pressure near m |

Thursday, November 01, 2012 10:09:38 PM epiphany: A trick of "throwing your voice" is to learn how to raise the volume of a casual greeting without sounding like you're calling or yelling, and then address someone from some distance away. Done skillfully, the victim will be baffled as to who said hello. Is there a chance you have a trickster at work who might have pulled that off? |

Thursday, November 01, 2012 9:40:41 PM I don't believe in the supernatural. I do however believe fully in the succeptibility of the human brain to the power of suggestion, under the right circumstances. |

Thursday, November 01, 2012 8:47:00 PM I was standing waiting to make myself a coffee at work one day. The way the office was laid out & where I was standing, there was *no* way anyone could come up behind me without me knowing. While I was waiting, a man (he sounded middle aged) said in my ear: "What's up [my name]?" I could hear it clear as day & it was so close, I could feel breath on my ear...exactly like someone had spoken to me from very close next to me. I turned around to answer but there was no one there &, like I mentioned, no way anyone could have walked up to me (or away) without me seeing. I've had a few other weird things happen since then but to this day, I cannot explain someone or thing talking out loud in my ear without me seeing them! |

Thursday, November 01, 2012 7:13:29 PM I believe that the energy we put out as humans has the potential to linger after death, but I don't believe there are any intentionally-acting spirits. |

Thursday, November 01, 2012 4:46:39 PM I need an additional option. Believe in what people consider ghosts, but think they are something other than dead people. There is some interesting parallel universe science that shows ghosts may be the residual energy of a different plane of existence crossing onto ours. |
