To each their own.
The "Cupcakes" look good because they are easy to make and very cheap.
The pretentious pizza looks good but I would modify it. I would add maybe some feta and asiago, then some sort of meat. Maybe salami or grilled chicken. This would take an hour to make instead of the 10 minutes it would take to make the |

Fresh mozzarella, basil and a tangy pizza sauce on a thin, crispy dough. All drizzled with some EVOO and topped with hot crushed peppers. Best pizza I've ever had was in Vicenza. Follow it with some Chianti or Birra Morena and you're all set.
@DromEd: No I don't eat "bread" from a can nor "sauce" from a jar. Life's too short to eat s-hit. |

I'd be so bold as to say that American pizza is the best in the world. A thin, NY style crust with a Chicago sauce... prelibato! |

@ emmettyville - Yes, we do put other stuff on our pizzas. For example one of my favorite pizzas has sausage, pepperoni, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, pepper rings and green and black olives on it in addition to the sauce and cheese. I'm also fond of Canadian bacon, pineapple and green olives. You can put anything on a pizza - I suspect that the cheese only pizzas on tv are just to be 'less revolting' to the many vegetarian actors out there. |

Common pizza toppings in the US are, Sausage, peperoni, green peppers, mushrooms, onion, ham, black olives, bacon, tomatoes, anchovies and sweet peppers. |

@leesah I have never eaten like that. I have been cooking my own food since I was 12 years old, and it's never been anything like this. If I want pizza I make my own dough. |
