Armed man, dead body with bullet wound. Done. That in itself should make it a possible murder case, shouldn't it? Why wasn't this incident treated with the sensitivity it deserves? From what I've heard, it looks like it was handled like a case of petty theft.
"We know your teenage son was shot and killed, but the gunman claimed self defense so that's it. Sorry for your loss," should NOT carry the same weight as, "Your wedding ring was stolen, but we have no hopes of tracking it down, so file a claim with your insurance." Without all this recent media attention and protesting, that's what the case sounded like. |

Too bad there wasn't a video of the incident, then this would be old news. I wonder how many houses and businesses are going to be burnt and ransacked in the name of the poor innocent African-American. |

As a defense lawyer I can tell you do not present your case to the public. That was law ball verbal tea bagging by the "journalist." If your lawyer is talking to the media about your case, find a different one. |

Zimmerman DID NOT have an injuries on him and his nose was bot broken.
if he had been treated on the scene by paramedics he would have had bandages on him on his head where he was supposedly bleedding from.
are you people so stupid that that did not occur to you???
that if he was bleeding and was treated for wounds that they would be BANDAGED UP????
also, if he had a broken nose, which is very painful and BLEEDS LIKE CRAZY he would have been taken to the hospital right away by ambulance as the paramedics were already there.
also, his clothing looked fine...not like someone that just got INTO A F'ing LIFE AND DEATH STRUGGLE.
he is full of poo about what happened that night and should be charged with murder.

Morons . . . that video is too poor to see anything. No COP wants BLOOD in his squad car. IF he was BLEEDING they would have offered 1st aid BEFORE he got in the car. I suffer half a dozen nosebleeds a year and I almost never soil my shirts. INCONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE! |

Murder is a legal term that describes a specific type of homicide. So all murders are homicides but not all homicides are murders.
Homicide can be used to generally define an act in which one individual or party causes the death of another. Murder is associated with maliciousness and purpose, whereas homicide can be accidental or caused by negligence. Murder is always an illegal act, homicide is not. |

@yusuck, I saw the bias of the website as well, but the facts of the story are legit. I looked it up on google and found several other sources confirming the same thing. Dirty cop was involved in a cover up for the police chiefs son and the police chief did step down. I don't get how someone who knowingly abused their power in the past gets to keep their job. I don't understand how he has a job when he has a documented history of corruption and breaking his oath of honor as a policeman.

I didn't completely watch the videos (I don't particularly care what his dad has to say, and the lawyer wasn't there at all so it seemed like a waste of time) but Zimmerman has a job (one of the questions that was gonna be asked to his lawyer). My mom's friend works there and they have to have armed guards in case crazies try to "get Zimmerman" who hasn't shown up for work since the incident. They've postponed training new employees there, most likely because of the incident. |

@smutleybut, after a little more reading on the grio website, it is painfully obvious that it is as biased as the blaze or moveon, but I am adding it to my list to check out for perspective. but I am afraid I cant take them at their word, not saying the cop isnt dirty, just saying Im going to need some more evidence before I start thinkng this is a cover up |
