Monday, February 26, 2007 8:34:17 PM Dear ShaggyR, I am a hunter myself. The true meaning of hunting is for food, and hunting is part of making sure a species doesn't get overpopulated and die of no food. Every area has a number of animals it can support. The current number of animals should be as close as that number. Any less, it is restricted to hunt there. Any more, hunting is advised. Plus, a hunter must wear atleast 300 sq inches of flourescent orange, like on a vest. The hunter must give a fair chase. About the sabotage... Creepy, yet divine. |

Saturday, December 25, 2004 4:37:23 PM I also think vegetarianism is stupid. If God wanted us to eat greens we would have white, spotted fur and a pair of horns! |

Sunday, December 12, 2004 8:19:38 AM Here in SC, after we kill al the deer, we are going after punk kids who are against hunting. Nothing like seeing a deer with it's leg blown off, trying to get away! |

Monday, December 06, 2004 10:44:55 PM Alright, I'll respond. Fishing is okay because when you think about it the fish was trying to kill something to eat in the first place (the worm) so he can't complain when we kill him and eat him instead. The deer, you see, was not trying to kill anything and lives a peaceful life. And by all means, if you are in the jungles of panama then kill or be killed pal!!! Of course I agree with that...my argument is against sport hunting and killing defenseless animals for fun and trophy heads...which is what 99.9% of "hunters" do these days. It may surprise you to hear that I am not a pacifist by nature...in fact I have been a boxer most of my life and I love to fight. That's why "hunters" drive me crazy...I see no honour, no sportsmanship, no bravery whatsoever in hiding in some bushes and shooting something. Get up and challenge life head on you big sissies, stop crawling around on your belly waiting until your opponent turns his back. Losers. |

Monday, December 06, 2004 9:31:58 PM Also people do hunt for food. If you think about it it's cheaper to buy a gun and bullets then having to go to the store to buy meat all the time... |

Monday, December 06, 2004 9:30:17 PM Well shaggy people fish are you going to crie about momma and poppa fish? No because they're just fish. So whats the difference if you kill a fish or if you kill a dear? Why do you think people sit on the other side of water where fish cant breathe to catch them? its because people have different ways to relax. some people hunt and some people like you complain all day... |

Monday, December 06, 2004 9:25:06 PM *returning comment to shaggy*i disagree with your comment about 'justifying rather than explaining' hunting. most of the facts stated are favorable to both deer (or whatever) and people. why explain it? i don't know why they enjoy it either. (i, personally think it's as boring as hell)...anyway, as i was stating, if there are only gains made from hunting, how can there be an overall loss? |

Monday, December 06, 2004 10:46:22 AM My uncles hunt, but it is because that is their only source of food. They live in the jungles of Panama. I don't agree with hunters who mount their "prizes" on the wall, or rich idiots who use skins for decorations, or those that kil for ivory (In reference to elephants). That is extremely wrong, and sadistic. But everyone finds out these things in due time, if not now, then when it is too late. |

Monday, December 06, 2004 1:06:36 AM Listen here, my friends. What you are doing is justifying hunting as opposed to explaining it. You say that the deer population would become too large. Are you suggesting that one of these clowns is sitting at home and one day thinks "ya know what? that deer population is getting too large! It is my responsibility to go out there and put some bullets into them! And while I'm at it, take my picture with it's head because I am such a hero!"That is a ridiculous argument and you know it. People who hunt do it for the thrill, not because they are concerned about the deer population and feel it is their civic duty to play God. Animals kill each other in the wild because if they don't they will starve. Show me one idiot out there hiding behind a tree who will starve to death if he misses the shot. Hunters these days are gutless losers who sneak around and shoot defenceless animals for the fun of it (and to put a head on the wall as a trophy). Reeeal impressive, pal |

Sunday, December 05, 2004 11:18:13 PM Predators kill animals when there just getting a drink of water Shaggy. Its the way of life. Animals kill other animals. And humans are animals too remember. Are you against predators too?And Like hobyandy said, if we didnt hunt them (which would kill them faster) they could starve to death from overpopulation (slower). Hunting can def. be good. As long as were not wiping out the species. But humans in a way are hunted. AIDS are killing thousands in africa, when they're just trying to live their life...it kills them...sorta like we kill a deer whens its getting a drink of water.

Sunday, December 05, 2004 10:41:36 PM There is no reason to hunt anymore...the only people who need to hunt, are those who havent found the miracle that is microwavable dinners. Now please enough of this bullsh*t...Oh please dont hurt the animals *cries like a little bitch*I love animals too, but you need to realize that complaining about it isnt gonna solve or help anybody, so just save it! |
