In my day you only had to watch out for the occational Uncle, but nowadays who knows?! Pervs everywhere. I blame the sexual revolution. Everyone was told to indulge their wild side...and they did.
And then you get lazy bitches like that woman who figured "as long as he's buggering the boys he won't bother me". What a Slitch! So to put a cherry on the cake, after the kid is psycho-traumatized by the husband, the wife decides to bang him and confuse him more.
That kid should own their home. Just sign it over now, save us all the trouble of sueing them. They won't need it in prison. |

i read up on the law a little,

the way i read she could testify, meaning she could have done something to stop it, but the law is something which i fail to understand at (most) times. Imho she should have done something no matter what the cost. But that opens a can of worms.

MrOrange, Spousal protection is that a wife cannot be forced to testify against her husband. She can if she chooses to. But that's just theory, I've seen the DAs on Law & Order blackmail spouses all the time by agreeing to drop charges against the wives.
This wife is an accessory to child rape. She should go to prison, too. Maybe not as long as her husband, but she shouldn't get off scott free. Hiding the crime helped the husband repeat it with this kid and others. |

Where were his parents during this whole relationship? A lot of adults really failed him. I hope he works this out and can be the kind of upstanding, trustworthy adult that clearly no one in his life could be for him. |

If I'm not mistaken, the law is that couples do not HAVE to testify against each other. If one is willing, they can testify. |

Excellent, so everybody knows the guy is a scumbag,
But what can the wife do? isn't the law in the states such that a spouses can not testify against each other? Before i call her what i want to call her i'd have to know what her legal options were. |
