OK, that was wrong on both parts. That teacher should be held accountable...but that student should be as well. When I went to school, if you spoke back to the teacher in such a fashion you ended up suspended for a day...second infraction gave you 3 days...a third infraction and you were expelled.
Both parties need to share the blame on this one. |

My guess is he isn't special, but is so difficult to work with that he got kicked out of normal school. I got placed into all sorts of "second chance" programs because I was too bored to pay attention and skipped class instead.
So what I'm getting at is, he's a troubled student who got stuck with actual special needs students, and he resents being considered the same. |

@drawman61: It's bullying because he was using a position of authority to degrade him rather than do his proper job and then threatening to meet the kid after school and "kick his ass". You insensitive prick! Granted many kids now are obnoxious and rude, but this kid was trying to get a proper education without fear of intimidation and violence. The kid goes to a special needs school and constantly back-chats the teacher. In my day we would have been thrown out the class or caned. And before you say "it ain't the old days anymore", well maybe that's the whole problem with our rude, lazy, obnoxious youth. |

What is the point of suspending somebody WITH pay? I mean, to me, thats just a paid vacation.
I dont get that with cops either: Where is the punishment? Is their job so amazing that the punishment is not being able to go to work?
Am I missing something here or am I wrong? Help me out...

Does a special needs school have only students that have something mentally wrong with them?
Because the name alone just implies that it's a school for students who need a little extra/different help outside of the mainstream, and I would have thought that could mean anything.

2: He is in special ed for a reason, which means the teacher should know how to work with kids like that, it's his job to get those kids ready to go out into society and the workforce. and i doubt this is the way. |

Oh BIG F-ING DEAL. Wow, you know the "special" kid (who probably has "ADHD") is just some stupid punk who wants to disrupt class constantly and never does any work. The teacher gets frustrated with him during an argument and says something almost threatening. I saw that every damn day in class. We need to arrest every teacher ever. |

He probably ended up in special ed because he was diagnosed with "ADD" or something that hindered his ability to learn in a typical environment. Whatever you call it, there is no excuse for a teacher to behave this way. |

I'd need to see the entire video. The kid doesn't seem very "special needs" to me, not like my cousin who has autism. The only other "special needs" kid like him that I have known ended up on the news for throwing a desk at his teacher. Basically a borderline retarded piece of poo kid who grew up to be a piece of poo adult. |
