You can always tell a critic of BM has never been there when they immediately discuss BO. No BO in the desert, the dry heat kills the bacteria that causes it. Everyone is dirty from dust being on everything, but that's a different complaint altogether. |

@osirisascend: Thanks for the correction I've always wanted to make! I've been to Burning Man several times now, and I rarely see a hippy. Most can't afford it, and frankly, I don't think that they would enjoy the experience. |

Wrong, wrong, WRONG. While there are indeed some hippies present, Burning Man is not a hippiefest.
Also, this wasn't taken from space. Most likely a plane flying over the desert at significant altitude.
I really, really hate it when people who know NOTHING about Burning Man, and have never BEEN to Burning Man make idiotic statements like the caption for this pic that implies they know what they're talking about when they're basically full of sh*t. |
