The caption is misleading. In a 30 meter drop, it would be more like "I believe I can gluggggg".

...could we please stop with the filming everything like it was a shot for Titanic? I mean really...1.5 minutes for a 6 second fall.

...and they didn't even show the entire fall. I HATE it when they show the beginning of a stunt multiple times before they show the rest (or worse, when they skip the middle).

Otherwise, it was indeed a way cool stunt.

Balls on that guy! Ding dong. That was a very small pool and he was flushed real quick. Gotta be shallow, bet there are couple of smaller falls lined up right after.

I would have thought to lean back into the waterfall but seeing this makes more sense as leaning into it prevents water surging up your nose.

Good technique from the yak'ker, but good lord could we please stop with the filming everything like it was a shot for Titanic? I mean really...1.5 minutes for a 6 second fall.

Gerryy1of1, I would love to see you try to "move forward until yo(you) fall" there actually is a technique to it, notice how he lowers his head and holds his paddle. Should he have held his paddle in front of him it would have flown back into his face and knocked him unconscious and caused him to drown, OR he would have lost the paddle and been unable to right himself and once again probably drowned unless he performed a wet exit (flipping himself out of the kayak under water).

So the technique here is to move forward until yo fall.

I see...so, just fall off it then? I'll keep that in mind next time I'm barrelling off a 90 ft. waterfall.

For "athlete" read "nut." We have a 230 foot falls near Whistler BC that he might want to try - looks just like this one, but, a bit taller.

They should have just shown the whole thing. The editing was annoying.

Doesn't seem so bad, but rather him than me.
