Sunday, September 18, 2011 5:10:03 PM "This is a really common operation, the woodshop teacher at my school has a toe-thumb." My friend has it too (well, not friend, acquitance.. haven't seem him in 20 years...), it's strange shaking his hand.. It didn't have full functionality but enough that he could write well and he did woodworks too. Another of that bunch had his voicebox removed because of childhood disease. His voice was unique as he was whipering but as he had done that his whole life, he could whisper in a crowded bar across the table.. Women were all over him, talking like Batman for real.. |

Sunday, September 18, 2011 10:11:09 AM I heard somewhere that they can now give you a heart transplant. There should be a post about that. |

National Healthcare will do that for ya. In the US they'd just pay him disability for life. start healthcare debate in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... |

Sunday, September 18, 2011 7:31:21 AM glad he has such a positive outlook on the situation. I wouldn't be so positive if it were me, I'd be a wreck. |
