Personally I hate laptops (even though I am forced to be on one right now.) they look retarded, and I hate these little mouse pads. |

Possibly this is a one time thing. In my area the power was out for two days, and I needed to finish a research paper. If I had not backed it up to a flash drive I might have had to move my computer to a place that had power. |

That's awesome, but another issue is that laptops are designed to be impact resistant. You can break a desktop just by knocking it over on it's side. |

Desktops are better, obviously, unless you are in the habit of moving your computer around and/or need it with you when you're out. |
