Thursday, March 24, 2011 2:36:43 PM Q? I wonder where he went to celebrate?? All jokes aside....what he did was pretty cool. Yes there are advantages weight wise by him having one leg, and moves his opponent couldn't do. But the lack of leverage/balance alone by only having one leg is significant. Wrestling was def the right sport for him to pursue, since he can turn his normal disadvantages into advantages. (Answer - IHOP!) |

Monday, March 21, 2011 6:09:36 AM Wrestling is the only sport that give you real life skills. The guy with one leg is cheating. |

Sunday, March 20, 2011 10:31:00 PM "Without his right leg he can rub his black dick against his opponent even more easily. And I'm sure the white guy likes it." <-- HOT. Not sure about the amputee-porn-fetish thing, but I bet you're somewhat turned on, huh? Love your imagination. You could be a great porn movie producer! XD |

Sunday, March 20, 2011 9:10:53 PM I don't get wrestling. It just looks like rolling around on a mat to me. What I do get is the weight categories. I'm a pretty thin guy, but I significantly outweigh both of them. Also, without that leg, he's got way more mass to spread around. His arms are freaking huge! Even without that leg, he can probably just muscle his way thru it. |

Sunday, March 20, 2011 8:35:21 PM @gbrzeatetee, first of all, wtf in general? secondly, have you ever seen a singlet? Leg or no leg, there is no avoiding penile contact. Third question, is this a racial or homoerotic thing to you? Because I really don't see a need to bring that up. |

Sunday, March 20, 2011 8:19:37 PM one leg makes up 20% of total body weight of the average person, so he would have a huge strength advantage over every other kid at 125. |

Sunday, March 20, 2011 6:56:31 PM My only response is that he has an advantage of additional upper body strength because of the weight reduction due to the lost leg. That lost weight could add a huge addition of muscle mass to the core and arms. |

Sunday, March 20, 2011 6:05:22 PM This is gross. Without his right leg he can rub his black dick against his opponent even more easily. And I'm sure the white guy likes it. |

Sunday, March 20, 2011 3:07:03 PM I felt like a dick but I was thinking of all the advantages that someone would have if they were missing a leg and wrestling. Still, I'm not discounting his drive. |

Sunday, March 20, 2011 3:06:51 PM There was a kid on my high school team who had a few amputations. He wasn't great but he did a lot better than he probably would have if he hadn't had those issues. He was a lot stronger than the kids in his weight class and they couldn't grab on to him really well. Not to mention he could only wrestle ground so he focused on that. Even wrestling a left handed person is much harder than a right handed person because you have to switch your game entirely. It's not exactly something you can train for. I'm glad for the kid and I wish him the best, but I'm not nearly as impressed as I would be if it were any other sport. |

Sunday, March 20, 2011 3:04:29 PM Rheaonon, you can't slam in greco roman anyway. This guy would be hard to wrestle. He has a lot more upper body muscle than someone else in the same weight class, and as the announcer said there would be a lot of moves and escapes that just wouldn't work against him because there's no leg to grab there. I'm not saying he's at an advantage, but it would be confusing as hell to wrestle this guy. He always wrestles with one leg, but how often do his opponents practice against that? It must be hard for him to twist though, without that weight to pull him around. |

Sunday, March 20, 2011 3:00:18 PM @rheaonon, the guy with 2 legs can't slam him either, it's prohibited. Even so, most college wrestlers only a few basic moves, they are just really good at them. It's kinda hard to take someone down who is already on the ground. At this level there is usually no ground game involved so other wrestlers don't focus on it. This is all he has. The other wrestlers don't have experience with a guy who has a much stronger upper body and a much better ground game. If you don't know what you are talking about please shut up. There is a reason why you see a lot of wrestlers missing limbs. It's an advantage in this sport. |

Sunday, March 20, 2011 2:27:11 PM advantages... like the fact that he can pick you up from the standing position and slam you... oh wait, he can't. Any "advantage" he may have from not having a leg is canceled by the fact that there are many moves that would greatly benefit from the second leg. |

Sunday, March 20, 2011 1:35:21 PM I agree with addler. Legs weigh a lot. One leg can bring you up 2 or three weight classes, where he would suck |

Sunday, March 20, 2011 12:50:39 PM would say he has an unfair advantage over the other guy. whoever the guy with no leg fights has less points of contact/oppurtunity for take down |

Sunday, March 20, 2011 12:47:38 PM he is going to be stronger than anybody he wrestles. whatever weight may have been taken up by his leg is now pure muscle. also, not having two legs makes it much easier to twist in and out of various positions. its cool that he stuck with the sport, but there is something to be said about the little advantages he gets with his handicap. |
