I'd prefer to hear this song with the guitars downplayed a little. The musicianship required for this kind of song just wasn't present. And the choir could have been more present. They're barely audible the entire time.
I say all of this as a concert musician and as a member of a university choir. Please, consider this before you post any kind of diatribe or snarky remarks against me.
And now that I've basically begged for someone to say something rude, I'll just sit back and enjoy my Friday. |

OK, I'll confess my ignorance (mostly age related) and ask: Why are so many people on the Internet so enamored with performances of video game theme songs? This one was at least interesting, but most are annoying excrement. If I see another Mario theme video, I may go nuts. |

I saw these guys at PAX last weekend. They play great music, but there's so much showboating. It's really annoying. I don't need to be reintroduced to every member of the orchestra and have them play a solo after every piece. |
