Silly fools, cookies are sold by weight, not volume. What does the weight say on boxes from different years? Always the same.

Wow, you guys are all a bunch of idiots. Girl Scout cookies change year to year, you all should know that, they change as the economy changes. However, it should also be noted that they don't sell all the boxes each year. Every year some cookies are leftover. The cookies don't exactly expire so they can get away with this. Another thing is that they can put this year's sleeves of cookies into last year's leftover boxes. I have boxes of cookies bought from various places and they're all different sizes and there's varying amount of cookies in each one. I believe last year they switched factories and if you looked closely you could see that some boxes still had the old factory's location labeled on them. Occasionally they change pictures and designs on the boxes so some year's they'll be a big mix between those.
And yea, there's like 2 tagalongs in each box, so that sucks.

OK, the boxes of thin mints I just bought they sleeve was the same as the box.
Duffytoler CLEARLY has never eaten frozen thin mints. We just went through 2 cases of them in like 2 weeks. I can easily eat a sleeve at a time. |

as a former girl scout, i can truly say i hated selling those mofo cookies. ONLY A SMALL PERCENTAGE WENT TO MY TROOP (roughly 10%), while the rest WENT TO THE ADMINS (Girl Scout Council-more than 50%). IT'S A TOTAL SCAM. |

@gatorade: actually, not true. I bought a box of thin mints and a box of samoas last week. The box sizes are not the same; and there are WAY more thin mints in a box than there are samoas. 20 samoas; about 40 thin mints. Also, I have a recipe for homemade thin mints: bag of milk chocolate chips, bag of mint chips, melted on the stove, then dip ritz crackers or oreo cookies into the mixture and let cool and dry. Instant thin mints, makes up to 6 dozen. |

I hadn't gotten them in a couple of years, but there are absolutely fewer than there used to be, it looks like almost 25% less than the old days, AND they cost more. Nice.
