Sunday, February 13, 2011 5:12:45 AM That is drating disgusting. It is NOT the police's job or right to act in such a manner. Those men should be stripped of their badges. |

Saturday, February 12, 2011 9:48:23 PM In closing- to everyone who has commented that this is a good example of how cops should do their jobs- think about what you're saying. You're arguing that, essentially, the police should have judicial authority. Not simply that they should be able to use force in apprehending suspects who are resisting, but that they should be allowed to PUNISH suspects who have not yet been given a fair trial. Just toss that thought around inside your heads for a bit. |

Saturday, February 12, 2011 9:34:28 PM @Kalimata- it's truly disturbing to me not only that Americans AREN'T up in arms about this kind of sh*t, but are actually IN FAVOR of it. We just witnessed, via television and internet media, a massive people's revolution in Egypt that was largely inspired by a people fed up with a brutal police force with no respect for people's rights. While I'm sure that Mubarak's police force was far worse than any US police force, that's the direction we're headed if people keep accepting the idea that the police should be permitted to dole out punishments. The central problem I see is that there is no check on police power- which seems absurd in a country where checks and balances are supposed to be a central feature of the government. Expecting the police to check their own power (which is pretty much how every police force operates) is totally insane. |

Saturday, February 12, 2011 1:36:34 PM Well, the police have done their job. Chad Holley will never rob anyone again. He will live a very good life on the money he gets from the state and the county after the case is settled out of court. |

Friday, February 11, 2011 1:52:54 PM The kids should be left to beat fend for himself in prison. That is where he will get beatings. Not by the very people that are there to serve and protect. One day the police will be doing it to normal innocent citizens; just like the nazis. Welcome to America. |

Friday, February 11, 2011 2:44:12 AM @Sbeelz I don't always agree with your posts, but you have it bang on this time. I find the fact that the judicial officials and even the federals tried to suppress the tape, and that the punishment for the policemen involved was so light, to be a truly scary trend that is gaining ground in the "States" right now. Laws governing how low your pants can be, laws against video taping the police during arrest, the whole National Security gig. The U.S. people should be up in arms with pitchforks and torches held high, defending their freedoms, yet a lot aren't. |

Thursday, February 10, 2011 4:34:47 PM People saying all negatives about the lad, don't forget, the police commiting these offences are JUST as bad as the boy. I, personally, think it's horrible to watch. |

Thursday, February 10, 2011 1:47:22 PM "All the kid did was rob and run, he didn't murder a baby" do you know this? this is the END of the pursuit, he could've been driving a car like a maniac and killed someone and then hopped out. I don't know the whole story, but do you honestly? did you investigate the entire chase? and I agree with whoever statement that was at the end, "it is irresponsible for ABC13 to air this", yes very much so, especially if this hasn't been through trial, the only people who could honestly be on the witness stand now are those that didn't see this because they have an unbiased opinion going into the courtroom |

Thursday, February 10, 2011 7:04:30 AM And thats what happens when you give the police too much power. @sbeelz - unfortunately, a fascist police state seems to be where we are slowly heading. Hopefully people begin to pull their head out of their asses, see what is really happening around them, and realize that the federal government has way too much power over the state governments. |

Wednesday, February 09, 2011 4:05:34 PM Holy poo, there were like six cops kicking this one kid. All the kid did was rob and run, he didn't murder a baby, there was no reason for that kind of brutality, especially after the kid gave up. |

Wednesday, February 09, 2011 8:16:50 AM @Kaizer250- you are a small devilishly stupid liberal Speaking of small – your right there at 5’9 Napolean... Prisons are full of these guys that “have reasons for stealing†and all of their other crimes- the reason is liberals like you and urbanlegend make excuses for them and make opportunities for them to get out of being punished for their crimes. Why don’t you guys hold hands and skip off to a local prison – visit your buddies- I’m sure you’d have a great time . You don’t know what you are talking because you’ve never been the victim of a crime so you are talking out of your @ss. Based on your “bi†status that area gets enough traffic without you talking out of it- therefore it makes sense that your position is a load of crap! |
