As for Qasim's coup of the royal family and the overthrow of his own subsequent communist linked government, the CIA was not involved.
(Yes, there were rumors of CIA backing of Qasims overthrow since he was leaning communist but that's hearsay, not proof.)
You'd have been better off making the accusation of the US helping islamic jihad in Afghanistan (When Russia invavded them), At least there would've been proof of that.
During the cold war, One side's 'terrorist' was the other side's 'freedom fighter', but times have changed and so has the criteria we use to choose whom to help or hinder. |

I just did no where does it say that she wrote anything. The only mention of it is the Sahih al-Bukhari which by the way was compiled after generations of oral repetition. Not hard to imagine how details got skewed. Furthermore what exactly does this say about the character of Muslims worldwide (if that is the point)? |
