Sunday, December 26, 2010 8:32:44 PM @CrakrJak LOL! I figured you would bring taxes into it. Have it your way it's American. I still say foreign though. That's why I'm drinking Kona Logboards. It's local and smooth. |

Sunday, December 26, 2010 6:18:56 PM handy003: a majority of its shares have been voted to approve the proposed combination between InBev N.V./S.A. and Anheuser-Busch during a special shareholder meeting held today. Note that is says the 'shareholders' voted for the approval of the sale, Those people that didn't sell their shares for $70 each were converted to owning shares of Inbev. I don't know the exact number of American held shares of Inbev, But their headquarters are still in St.louis. That means they pay taxes here in America. Enough said. |

Sunday, December 26, 2010 4:57:27 PM @Crakrjak Sorry you don't have to own 50% of the shares to be majority stock holder. To simplify an example: If 100 people owned shares in Bud. Then such as 1 person 'A' owns 40% of the shares. Then 2nd person 'B' owns 38% of shares. Then the other 98 people own the remaining shares totaling 22%. That makes person 'A' the majority owner at 40%. "ST. LOUIS, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. (NYSE: BUD) today announced that a majority of its shares have been voted to approve the proposed combination between InBev N.V./S.A. and Anheuser-Busch during a special shareholder meeting held today. At the closing of the transaction, Anheuser-Busch shareholders will be entitled to receive $70 in cash for each share of outstanding Anheuser-Busch stock, and Anheuser-Busch will become a wholly owned subsidiary of InBev" InBev is majority owner. Sorry as I know it must be dishearting. Still it's the most popular beer.

Sunday, December 26, 2010 1:27:53 PM walterppj: Actually, After viewing Trufill's website, their system appears to work differently than what Budweiser has done. The difference is in the cups, The Trufill cups have a notch cut along the bottom edge of the cup with a type of rubber gasket. Budweiser's system fills directly from the bottom center of the cup. They are similar ideas, Executed in different ways. |

Sunday, December 26, 2010 11:30:03 AM If u need to drink beer that fast, that u get it from one of these machines, I am sure u do not care that they are touching the rims. (Alcohol will steralise it, hehe) |

Sunday, December 26, 2010 11:09:55 AM What stuck out for me was a food vender grabbing cups by the rim where people drink from instead of by the bottom where they don't have to put their lips. |

Sunday, December 26, 2010 10:51:03 AM nice idea, but the cups are probably a lot more expensive to produce, how many of them do you think they would get back?? |

Sunday, December 26, 2010 6:20:45 AM handys003: Inbev does not own over 50% of the stock, They are the 'largest' stock owner, Not the majority. And as I stated before part of the deal was that their head quarters will remain in St.Louis. Thus it is still an American brewery. Inbev knows that keeping Budweiser 'American' is good for sales, Even if it is only technical point. |
