The US government plebes, and corporatists are in need of "big, scary" enemy to get people (American voters) to give them power to take away the power of the American voter. The Koch brothers, and Goldman Sachs are two examples of corporations attacking the government and the taxpayer respectively. And with sold and bought politicians keeping the money tap wide open for the wars of occupation going to bleed the military dry.
Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein are phantoms of CIA operations of the past, that were cut loose when they ceased be politically useful.
Of which both became headaches to recent administrations. Bin Laden is made to useful again, but other a full fledged threat to American oil interests and was "removed" from influence.
As things stand now, the biggest Threat to American 'might' in the world is from with in America it self. The saving grace for the States right now is it money is used as a global standard, but eve |

Em... we won't catch him because the gov't won't allow that... we've already been in many situations where we could have easily nabbed him, but when troops requested to do so they were told no... he is kept alive for politcal reasons... do some research, read some military reports, i poo you not. |

Let me put this soewhat simply....The American Government will not find nor defeat this man...WHY?
Because nearly ALL of our victories have been against Megalomaniacs. It is easy to rally the entire population behind a war to dethrone a megalomaniac. They are phsychotic, murderous, unrelenting and unwilling to share power. it is their and theirs alone.
Now Bin Laden. He is not such a person. His power is shared by many. He does not Reign supreme. He does not demand the respect or adoration of others. For this reason it has been to his advantage to fight against those his people deem imperialists. it is also this reason why the American Government has FAILED to rally its people behind the war. This isnt Germany. This isnt Korea. This is a man who many believe is fighting a Holy war. It is also these same Muslims that have turned it into a Holy War. We didnt go to war against muslims. Does not matter if he will be caught or not, Karma always comes back, and when he dies, no matter how, he will probably come back multiple times as a slug in a pre-teens back yard, getting salted over and over again.

The government could easily capture bin laden if he was a real threat. He isn't, the government just loves their people to be in a state of threat as they get what they need out of it. |

Capturing Osama Bin Laden will solve nothing. If we do indeed capture him who is to say that there isn't another person just as crazy or even crazier than him. Its like taking a drug dealer off the streets, eventually someone else will take his place. We are failing the "War on drugs", the prohibition was a complete failure. Oh and then there's this $$$$
