Obviously it's some sort of consumer safety requirement that is different in the US than it is in Canada. But what I can't understand is why they don't just go with the country it is in. Is it directly on the border?
Maybe it moves - could be part of some kind of travelling funfair. |

Why care, unless you're planning to invade Switzerland and want to know what to plan for?
My point is that the weapons are held by soldiers under military discipline, as opposed to civilians. It doesn't matter what the weapon is, because the point in question was the degree of gun control. In Switzerland, the gun belongs to the army, the bullets belong to the army, the bullets are in a sealed container and subject to examination for tampering.
Apparently the standard gun is a SIG SG 550.

It's got nothing to do with the metric system. It's only because that playground is designed to a certain safety requirement. Canadian safety advisories are more lenient, so they would allow younger children onto the equipment, whereas US advisors require higher levels of safety for younger children. |
