Tuesday, June 08, 2010 4:53:36 PM Similar to those old water and air rockets we used to play with as kids. Once the initial pressure's gone, so is the propulsion's fight against friction. Cute, but certainly not "rocket science". :\ |

Sunday, June 06, 2010 4:09:10 AM Very cool, with plenty of visible physics. Where can I apply to work with these guys? The timed release of the vehicle absolutely makes sense. It gets it's momentum from firing the plastic rods out at the highest possible speed and pushing them against its massive backrest. They have to wait a few seconds for the pressure to build up in all bottles. Actually, this is more like firing a bullet from a rifle than propelling a rocket. Win! |

Friday, June 04, 2010 11:41:06 PM Quite cool. Could have gone further if they didn't hold it back when first firing I guess, but I need to try this now. |

Friday, June 04, 2010 4:07:31 PM They had the timing all off, they shouldn't have held it back, they lost the majority of the thrust. |
