I thought she made the corrections her self but now I understand.

It doesn't really make sense seeing as how the corrections are in pen not in computer ink because anyone passing by reading it would think that someone else corrected that and wouldn't think she did it on purpose.

Not to ruin the joke, but I am fairly sure she did the correction marks purposefully on her own poster to demonstrate what she was talking about.

I believe this is how the paper is, but I also believe most people would think otherwise.

I'm with you, keatonatron. I was sitting here wondering what in the heck I was missing as the flyer made perfect sense to me, too. Then I realized, "OH! It's as if someone *else* has come up and corrected the flyer." Which, of course, if the "mistakes" weren't only on the bolded words right smack in the center of the flyer, obviously put there as examples, I'd have understood.

Maybe the owner of the flyer can give classes in logic, too?

I also think this was deliberate - just not very well done or clear why.

"Did no one else realize that this is on purpose? She printed the master with mistakes, added corrections by hand, and then copied it to make multiple fliers to pass around. It's to give examples of what she corrects and how."

I think the people who couldn't figure this out are the ones that need her services the most. lol

Just pick up the average novel these days; I find about 1 error every 10-15 pages on average.

PS, its "proofread" , "proofreader" and "people's". Also, there should be a comma after "free"
