Tuesday, December 29, 2009 8:20:38 PM I'm this guy standing on a planet Really I'm just a speck Compared with a star, the planet is just another speck To think about all of this To think about the vast emptiness of space There's billions and billions of stars Billions and billions of specks ~Bill Nye |

Tuesday, December 29, 2009 8:07:40 PM DHAWK, patchouly is right, you are wrong. Light travels at ~300,000,000 m/s. If it only traveled at 300,000 m/s, the delay from a geostationary satellite would be about over 4 min. instead of ~1/4 sec. This was a pretty cool vid. I particularly liked the part at 3:35 where they showed what the Universe looks like from the outside.
