Friday, December 04, 2009 2:23:08 AM NightHack your going off of a book you can get on Amazon, come on.Ninja descended from practitioners of wanderers wushu. Yeah their main use was to gather information, but their combat techniques were definitely not jiujitsu; that wouldn't make sense logically because if you are discovered you can't fight while taking a guy to the ground. Rather, they used qinna and shuaijiao coupled with poisoning tactics (nails laced with poison etc) and covert, disposable weapons. All of this in japanese terms that I wouldn't know. Not that any of you give a poo xD |

Friday, December 04, 2009 2:05:29 AM I'd accept if it was urban legend kind of ninja. But it isn't so... Not interested in going through 4 years of repeated training to learn how to defend yourself against a man with a large stick... Really. I did 6 years of martial arts and thats all I learn from it. |

Thursday, December 03, 2009 6:21:58 PM The actual REAL truth about ninja: Samurai with an additional set of skills. They were most saboteurs and riflemen, but also used psychological warfare and were employed as spies and guards. The hollywood fantasy of the ninja has built them up to be something way bigger than what they actually were. Oh, and "ninja training?" It's Jiu Jitsu, the same as Samurai... because that's what they were. Farmers were conscripted soldiers, usually spearmen or archers, never samurai and never ninja.
