Those are gallows, not gibbets. Gibbets were used to hang already dead bodies in.
Gallows were what you hung people from. |

tp1212 - I thought that the noose was put tight enough for your neck to be held in place, but loose enough so you can breath; it's you falling combined with you stopping which breaks your neck (as that is where the rope is) which kills you. |

Actually, once they have dropped, the noose is tight around their neck, and wont come off, nor get any looser from just shooting the rope... So all we did was make their last seconds on this world just a bit less dangly. |

horrible programming. The arrow tails shouldn't hurt them, the arrows should stick in the wood after they cut the noose, the scoring doesn't work properly, numerous other bugs. Good idea, poor execution. |
