Actually, he was moving real cups, just when he moved his hands away, they cut and replaced the center cup with a sticker.A lot simpler and MUCH easier than the_windy's explanation. Btw, who framed roger rabbit was far from the first movie to be filmed in such a way |

It wasn't an actual cup, or background, I don't get why people are confused/impressed by this. >_<; It's all computer based. The cups were animated. The man was moving the cups in the same way that you can shake hands with an animated character in a movie.
It's been done since "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" came out. |
