that was really boring and dumb, all they did was use larger people in normal Halloween costumes. If anything an M&M would of been a good costume for an overweight person and I am not making fun. |

Oh dear no! Please don't say that. As an anime fan, my life has been filled with girls who wear clothes not meant for them......and the ears... ...The horror!.... ...THE HORROR!!!.... That said, there is a definite dearth of good costumes for someone overweight that just aren't embarrassing, or just say "You're wearing this because...YOU'RE FAT FATTY". I think its due to the idea that there really aren't many fat "good guys" (I think it stops at Herbie Popnecker) or even respectable villains (Kingpin uses a...suit, and Rhino/Juggernaut/Blob are just...eh) and thus aren't many ways to do clever costuming. I think instead of avoiding fat people in lead roles because it encourages people being fat, we should have heroes of all sizes who are comfortable in their skin. Anyway, that's my 2c. |
