Saturday, October 03, 2009 10:13:47 PM >Lionhart2 >Of course they do! What about the French government's joke on the innocent civilians on board the Greenpeace vessel Rainbow Warrior, docked in the neutral country of New Zealand and enjoying the local tourist attractions? Although I do not support the actions of the French military, by "enjoying the local tourist attractions" I assume you mean "illegally monitoring and hampering French nuclear tests". Still, the French were at fault for the death of Fernando Pereira. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainbow_War... |

Friday, October 02, 2009 11:03:03 PM > raikun12 > i hate the french. they made Chicago loose the Olympic bid.On the Plus Side though, they can probably capitalize sentences and spell "lose" correctly. And I doubt they made Chicago lose the BID, they might have not been the winning bid but they still had the right to bid, France didn't rob them of that. |

Friday, October 02, 2009 4:33:11 PM That so reminds me of when the Olympic Torch came to our city and the prank we pulled.Crowds lining highway for about 3 km. Mate #1, east of bridge, on CB tells us real torchbearer just gone onto the bridge. Mate #2, in running clothes and carrying fake torch, eases through crowd on west side, starts running along road. Everyone nearby knows he's fake cause they saw him start, but as he goes round corner, everyone farther along doesn't know, thinks he's the REAL runner. He runs 500m with his fake torch, gets level with us, we run out with anti-Olympic protest signs, mug him and dowse the 'Olympic Torch' with fire extinguishers before being arrested by cops who don't know he's not the real one. Just as they're dragging us to van, real runner comes around the corner. We get charged with Disturbing the Peace & Causing an Affray, prohibited from talking to the media about it (under Australia's 'You can't profit from crime' legislation) but it was totally worth it. |

Friday, October 02, 2009 2:26:24 PM Stagefreak - I'm sure you'd be pretty scared and confused if you cycle up a hill all peacefully, and then get mobbed by a large group of exited people. |
