Just so you all know, Habbazoot will not be returning. He has gone over to reddit, as have I as of the end of this post. I too will miss the old IAB. We have both resolved to return in about a year to see if any improvements have been made. Until then, we bid you adieu. |

@pedology: They're blurry because they're transparent, not because of whatever lame "long exposure time" you say.Additionally, the shadows make sense. On the car on the right, SUV on the left, the sign, and on the truck. Just because have a poor point of view for the shadows doesn't mean it's been photoshopped. |

Old and photoshopped... notice how the red flag things on the back of the truck are blurred (long exposure time), but the trees etc are really sharp.
Also look at the truck's shadow compared to, say, he sign. |

Re the pics on IAB, I have to say I hate(d) them, was very critical. Still am. BUT I found the first thing I do every morning is load up EVERY *picture* post and look at them, then leave the rest of the posts for later in the day. So can I hate them when I look at every single one? I'm as confused as you. But it seems to be working. |

That or he could've side-offloaded an excavator and didn't do it right.
