Wednesday, September 23, 2009 4:44:35 AM No right? wtf? However, it is funnier in context. I miss father ted. :( "Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These (pointings to toy cows on table) are very small; those (points out of the window at cows in the field) are far away..."

Tuesday, September 22, 2009 6:56:01 PM "If you don't get why people keep replying with 'careful now' you shouldn't be laughing at this post"Actually, the fact that it's just a scene from a TV show makes it less funny. |

Tuesday, September 22, 2009 12:45:07 PM The best part of that sign is that no one really knows what side your on.Protesting something? Here's your sign. Protesting a protest? Here's your sign. Undecided? Here's your sign. Just want to confuse the hell out of people by using it random spots where nothing is happening? Here's your sign. |

Monday, September 21, 2009 10:58:20 PM This is from an Irish sitcom called 'Father Ted' about 3 misfit priests living on a remote Island, one of the best TV shows ever made (check it out on Amazon/Ebay).This is from an episode where they are ordered by the Bishop to protest a new movie being released but they don't want to annoy the locals and also don't know what the film is about so they create two protest signs: "Down with this sort of thing" and "Careful now!" |

Monday, September 21, 2009 10:14:17 PM "If you don't get why people keep replying with "careful now" you shouldn't be laughing at this post"How obnoxious. You're basically saying "Down with this sort of thing" is not funny at all, and the only reason it's funny is because it was on TV where you are. Even without the reference, it was funny. If you happen to know the origin, good for you. I didn't know, but I sure do know I found it funnier when I thought it was original and witty. |
