not necessarily jareddevour. Just cause someone's favourite band is mainstream/popular doesn't mean they're not 'underground'. I'm sure plenty of, say, Metallica fans like a lot of lesser known bands too, go to local shows etc. Yeh some people jump bandwagons aaaall the time/listen to what their friends do or what Alt Press etc tell them to but no need to be elitist, eh? |

I don't like either Slipknot or ICP. They smell.
I do like a lot of Neo-Classical(Jason Becker FTW!), but a lot of it is done with a lot of distortion and BAM! you got yourself a stereotype. :D |

I could care about ICP but with Slipknot if people could ignore the costumes and actually listen to their music it's good. The lead singer has good vocal range he can scream like crazy and also hold a note just singing calmly their drummer is one of the best I've heard and their guitarists are also really good and have been featured in alot of guitar magazines. So if you think it's so talentless try playing/singing it and let me know how it goes. If anything in music needs to be criticized it's Kanye, JZ and everyother autotune junkie.Also yes the Beatles are a good band. |
