Monday, September 21, 2009 1:23:26 PM >>LionNot necessarily the whole story. Swine Flu is still apart of the H1N1 seasonal flus that go around. H1N1 categorized flus have been around and most people have some sort of immunity too it. However because it is a new strain, no one has the immunity to this swine flu, and it has already been shown to be resistant to several anti-viral drugs. The danger is that the flu could evolve because it has a larger population to go around in (ie, everyone who is exposed to it will likely get it, though in varying ways show symptoms) and has a high likelihood of becoming immune to ALL of our anti-viral drugs, which would leave us with no drugs to treat flu patients. Also its shown to be very dangerous to pregnant women...and since any pregnant woman who is exposed to it can get it..its cause for concern. |

Monday, September 21, 2009 3:47:52 AM > BobbyJenkinsSwine (or pig) flu is, as the name suggests, a flu that attacks pigs. See, lots of animals have flu's that target only them - dog flu for example will make your dog feel lousy but won't worry you. The panic and anxiety is because swine flu has crossed species and attacks humans too, just like bird flu. Your body can and does generate antibodies to fight 'normal' flu - no matter how it mutates into new strains all the time, the basic building blocks are there to fight it. However, flu's that cross over from other species into humans, and survive, and attack us, are a lot more dangerous, because we have no defence against them. |

Sunday, September 20, 2009 5:50:07 PM So... the objective is to SAVE America? Pfff. You'd think the government would give you more money if thousands of people have died. I mean, if its up to millions of deaths, money ceases to be a concern at all. How evil do you have to be to let millions die yet still squabble over dollars? And I know the answer.

Sunday, September 20, 2009 5:40:50 PM I kicked swine flu's ass! My over-zealous vaccination program nearly bankrupted me though, luckily I realised in time and let everyone in Florida and New Jersey die instead. |

Sunday, September 20, 2009 12:38:50 PM This game was more relevant about 2 months ago when it was released, and everyone actually thought we were all going to die. |
