Wednesday, September 09, 2009 12:55:01 AM People, it's a Vertical Take Off and Landing craft, plus you ought to notice the cage the driver is in. It's impossible for the craft to hover head-down to the ground. |

Monday, September 07, 2009 12:49:14 PM "Aaaand here comes the nation war.Thank you." Nah, there won't. Just wanted to indicate how amazing it is that technology had bounds further than we tought in a time earlier than we thought (or at least I thought). Regardless the nation, many of these ideas never came to fruition as they were last acts and efforts to win a desperate war, be it WW2 or the Cold War. Not to mention that these ideas were always initially designated to military purposes. Who knows what the Chinese or Japanese are up to? |

Monday, September 07, 2009 10:20:27 AM This is a Hummingbird platform, a personal VTOL craft similar to the WASP established since the 50's onward. Saucer-like aircraft have been developed utilizing contemporary technology. Their main problem was that they used a superfluous amount of energy. Mobility was one of its greatest traits, though. It was very manoeuvrable and had an airtime of approximately 20-40 minutes if I remember correctly. I know that WASPs were disbanded in the 70's because they had to make way for other programs that were directed more towards a modern system of warfare. After all, these would be rather expensive for being so lightly armoured and not to mention only on-eman vehicles. |
