Monday, August 31, 2009 9:13:47 PM Yeah you know what? Sucks to public education. The fact we have to pay for other people's stupid kids to learn things they don't even care about is horrible and should be abolished. To hell with the oppressive federal postal system. Controlling our mail just makes them one step closer to controlling what we say. Down with the military! The socialist government is just trying to have a federal military so it can bring in the gun squads once we question them. Stop unemployment and welfare! If people don't have a job and can't afford things, it's because they're a failure and deserve death by poverty and slow starvation. Just say no to universal health care! Yeah, insurance companies deny vital care for profit but it doesn't matter because only the rich deserve to live. For the less perceptive: this is satire. I can't believe that people are so selfish as to accept the death of others for less taxes, crying socialism against a system that wouldn't even abolish private provid |

Monday, August 31, 2009 2:43:51 PM Well, to be fair, madest only paid $8.00 to fix his arm because he had already paid for it out of deductions from his paycheck. Plus, he also helped to pay for the person receiving millions of dollars of cancer treatment. |

Monday, August 31, 2009 12:44:21 PM Of course I don't mean you should have forced them. Get with the program, madest!I mean that you paid eight bucks to fix a non-life-threatening problem, and you believe that it's right. That other people should pick up the tab for your broken arm, or your sniffles, or rash, or friggin' cough syrup... But whatever, I'm just a hater. Rah rah Obamacare, whatever. |

Monday, August 31, 2009 10:51:39 AM Yes. Stand up for theft. You paid $8.00 for a broken arm. Do you think that's right? That you should only pay $8.00 to FIX YOUR FUC.KING ARM? I can't buy a decent meal for $8.00. You are the product of luxury. A parasite. You require a fat and happy host (after all, you can't get blood from poor countries, right?) for you to even exist. Your entire philosophy is a luxury, built on the strong economy that you now take for granted. Like the wealth fell from the sky. I say again, you are pathetic. |

Monday, August 31, 2009 9:12:31 AM "Only the ones Hugo wants."You are a complete fool, aren't you? So it's a benevolent dictatorship, right? How many terms do you think Hugo will want? Again, Socialism doesn't happen all at once. It's a slow acting poison, but sure. |

Monday, August 31, 2009 2:06:56 AM Thank-you, SuperSmash.I can't believe all the idiots that simply refuse to consider a news item that has been reported in several news outlets, just because it's cool to say "It's from Fox, and yer not supposed to like Fox, so, er, it must be crap" |

Sunday, August 30, 2009 11:05:45 PM I always want to ask the Obama apologists:Do you think Socialism happens all at once? Like one day you're pure laissez-faire Capitalist, then BAM! Instant Socialism? You do realize that the health care bills being bandied about are a move in the direction of Socialism, yes? |

Sunday, August 30, 2009 6:55:27 PM the strength of government is inversely proportional to the strength of the economy and quality of life. This is why we saw the solv. union fall and why china is growing now that they have a more free market. STAY OUT OF MY LIFE AND CHECKBOOK OBAMA! bush sucked like hell and obama has already spent more of my money than bush did in his 8 years i want my vote back -_- |

Sunday, August 30, 2009 6:29:04 PM How exactly would you go about turning off the entire internet? This leads me to believe that somewhere there is a HUGE 'Mother' modem that supplies all internet and Obama could simply unplug it and the internet would shut down... NAAAAHH!Off Note: Dear America, There is nothing wrong with the NHS! I live in England and the NHS is fine, and it would probably work better in the US because you have more funds! Leave the NHS alone! |

Sunday, August 30, 2009 12:46:13 PM My link a little bit down is to the Bill as introduced to the Senate. This was reported in the same way by more than one source. Namely, CNET and they are owned by CBS. |

Sunday, August 30, 2009 11:53:47 AM And lets be honest about something, the ONLY reason Fox is reporting it is because some other news source disagrees with Barry. If i was a reporter for the NY Times and actually said something to disagree with Barry, like say, his solution for health care reform. And i offered up a totally new solution that goes against what barry has in mind, then Fox news would ACTUALLY report it AND make a point that "Even the NY Times, the most liberal newspaper in the world, agrees that Obama's health care ideas are bad." While what they are reporting technically accurate information, they are only doing so because it paints certain people and issues in a bad light. Same goes for MSNBC. If McCain had been elected and this bill came up, it would be MSNBC screaming PANIC with Fox trying to hush it up. |

Sunday, August 30, 2009 11:44:47 AM vague was the term used by the person who didnt want any legislation regarding the internet. That person may very well have understood what the new bill means, but when being interviewed, in order to convey their POV, they say it is "vague". I'm not saying i agree with any legislation but the sheep here have been fed and corralled into one particular point of view, and that is the point of view of the people opposing the bill. All of those reports quote the same person from the same interview. The reporters for fox and cbs, just rewrote the report from CNET with their own language. The interviewee is still the same, the interviewee's POV is still the same and that POV is Internet legislation is BAD. Add in that the pres can call a state of emergency for US networks and that person who wants the internet free from law and you get a freaked out interview. |

Sunday, August 30, 2009 11:22:36 AM "Vague," in legislation, means "whatever we want it to be and can justify."So, no, not helping. |
