Thank goodness they go over that damn polygraph test.Though I disagree on the subliminal messaging for two reasons.
1) CEO's are smart rats, why would they use subliminal messaging if it doesn't work?
2) The genius who found the reptilian hot button. Pure effing brilliance and he's probably worth billions. |

i hated this one, for shame that internet science, can state something is false based on "as far as we know", as they claimed in the adverticement. I study psycology, at Ã…rhus Univercity denmark, and as far as modern research finds, 4-5 of these actually are right, homophones try to suppress their frustration about their sexual prefferences by acting out. subliminal messages work, and they work very well. believe in your self will give an increase in performance vs, not believe in your self. when will the "6 bullcrap list, that where actually bullcrap come out" |

This likely stems from the fact that your mother is the town Starbucks. For those that don't know what that means, it means that everyone in town comes in for a quick "pick me up", paying only a few dollars, and still leaving feeling like they paid way too much for what they got. This likely makes you feel emasculated, and thus drives your insatiableneed to compensate. Having a small penis doesn't really help either, but for $40 an hour we can fix your problems and make you happier and more socially acceptable. :) |

Well, that is an opinion. A fact is that Psychology provides with explanations to the daily phenomena we all experience in our mental and emotional lives. Another fact is that it develops techniques that help people heal themselves.

2 I already knew. Most of them, however, I sort of disagree with. For example, self-esteem is important for success. Saying "You can become president if you try!" is wrong. What's important is understanding that a positive attitude will always get you further than a negative one. If you have a negative one it's as if you've given up before you've even started. |

There is a great book written by a sociology professor at San Diego State, called Generation Me by Jean Twenge, that uses scientific fact to show that the "believe in yourself and you will succeed" myth has actually caused MORE depression in young people, because it creates unrealistically high expectations. People end up feeling like a failure when they don't become rich and famous. |
