Saturday, August 29, 2009 10:27:15 PM "He just said 'I want to live'" Did he really say that? That's impressive. Why are people so stupid?

Tuesday, August 25, 2009 7:49:49 AM Empathy for animals? Absolutely! Poor little turtle. Over humanization describing his "courage and strength" and his will to live is a bit loopy though. Is she going to start telling us his harrowing tale how after the accident he started drinking and hit his girlfriend and sunk in to a depression, but after seeing an advertisement for the Special Turtle Olympics, he decided that is was time to cast aside that bottle and be the best damned turtle he could? A heart warming turtle training montage later, yaddah yaddah gold medal, and the movie wins an Oscar. |

Monday, August 24, 2009 9:58:36 PM Opie, you raise an interesting point. With all of these home videos lying around, why hasn't Hitler been posthumously done away with?! |

Monday, August 24, 2009 8:51:26 PM "We can't cure childhood cancer, but we can give a turtle legs. Thank God we've got our priorities straight."Are you kidding? That's like saying, "We can record endless hours of family video, but we can't travel back in time and kill Hitler." One is a bit more difficult than the other. |

Monday, August 24, 2009 7:48:52 PM BostonKaiser - "We can't cure childhood cancer, but we can give a turtle legs. Thank God we've got our priorities straight."Um, Boston: Did you by any chance look at the video? This is a very loose interpretation of prosthetic legs. Put these folks on the childhood cancer research circuit, and I picture the treatment consisting of hitting the cancer with a hammer. |
