Friday, August 28, 2009 10:15:21 AM Actually... people have to understand... those things belong to the baby the father is actually quite successful. The baby right now is actually going through a crack binge hence the unconscious child. The picture was taken by a confidential informant... ever think about that :| |

Monday, August 24, 2009 8:54:26 PM Personally I think it's art, I mean I could definitely see the message conveyed here. It's true that it could be real, but I'd rather think not. :/ I agree with Explody on this. Also if it was a photo meant to "show off" a gangsta status or whatever, wouldn't they pose the baby more appropriately for that? I dunno just a thought. Either way I truly do hope this isn't real. |

Monday, August 24, 2009 6:02:14 PM And really, dude (yes. I called you dude.) you don't have to argue with anyone about it. The picture was taken and no person worth breathing is going to recreate it.Besides, it's not like you shook any opinions. and the baby's still out there selling crack whether you like it or not. so by all means, if you feel like you're wasting your time...it's probably because you are. |

Monday, August 24, 2009 5:57:03 PM -but it's a safe guess that wherever these people live is NOT in the safety of the suburbs. The glass in the window is dirty, and the windowframe indicates older construction and several layers of paint. That tells me inner city. Maybe YOU'D let your kids run around outside sans shoes in an urban environment, but a good parent WOULDN'T.- I wasn't in the suburbs when I ran around with no shoes either.
That's kind of an odd conclusion to jump to, really. |

Monday, August 24, 2009 4:58:50 PM Ok. If this is real it is sad.If it is not real, it is very sad still. That is because it is the reflection of a very common problem in all our societies. Violence, possibly drug related, is everywhere. Children are caught in the middle. It is sad but very real. As I said, if this is not a real situation, it is art. It creates controversy and rises questions about our society. I know this because I am a psychologist that works in art analysis. And BTW teenagers are not stupid. They are inexperienced. We all were there. |

Monday, August 24, 2009 3:14:39 PM I agree with explodey. Is it art? Read the comments it has generated, the thoughts it has provoked. BY DEFINITION it is art. And good art, at that. Unless of course it IS a picture taken by a dirtbag gangsta of his own kid in its normal everyday surroundings... |

Monday, August 24, 2009 3:10:25 PM And it looks to me like it's supposed to be a picture of a little kid after a hard night of pimpin' and partyin'. You're not supposed to think of the kid's dad, you're supposed to think that's the kid's stuff all over his bed. If that is the case, then I like this photo a lot |

Monday, August 24, 2009 3:04:44 PM @ Osirisascend I stay by my theory of art. It doesn't have to be a MASTERPIECE to be art. I have more faith in mankind to know better than to put a real child in danger like that. If I'm wrong, then we're all f*cked. But really, you're wasting a lot of time posting all that stuff nobody really cares about. If you ARE an adult (the internet is the best place to lie about age), shouldn't you have something better to do? Like have ACTUAL human interaction? And yes, teenagers are STUPID. There's no doubt. But we ALL aren't COMPLETELY INSANELY DUMB. Some of us are mature enough to have some common sense. |
