Honestly, I thought this was freaking hilarious when I saw the sign... but I thought about it a little more and I'm going to have to agree with Zeroknight92 on this one.
Just as a warning, I'm explaining the sign, not preaching here. In the Bible, Matthew 25:34-40 gives an example of how acts of kindness to someone are a way to show God, so in this case, it would be as if God is showing kindness through a simple thing like a sock, and you're also showing your love for God by helping another one of His children.Anyway, stepping down from my Jesus soapbox >_> this reminds me of the webcomic Sinfest, where God frequently uses sock puppets to represent himself and Satan XD |

Why is everyone being so rude to this homeless man? Like Inteluhgint mentioned, he's saying that the gesture of money or clothing would be like a gift from god, given the state he is in. If you were starving to death, wouldn't you think the person who gave you a sandwich was a god? |
