Actually i am pretty sure in Australia pretty much no one calls balls Nads and there fore Nads the product is working out quite well. The family are now multi multi millionares and sitting pretty!!! Good thing they were aiming for the Aussie market and not American don't ya think when they didn't think at all what Americans would think about their product! |

Oh dear lord, that Fartfull thing is embarrassing, for someone from the same country as IKEA... First off, it's embarrassing because they didn't translate/check what it meant, secondly, the word they chose to use from the start is grammatically incorrect. Well, I'm not entirely sure it's incorrect, but it's awkward and uncommon at least. It'd sorta be like buying a MoreFast.

The Chevy Nova comes to mind.
"No Va" means "it doesn't go" in Spanish. Did no one in the entire company speak Spanish to point that out?I also remember that the translation of Kentucky Fried Chicken's slogan "Finger Licking Good" in Farsi translated to "So good, you'll eat your fingers" |
