Wednesday, August 05, 2009 11:54:39 AM Andy Warhol was gay as the day is long, John was straight but supposedly slept with openly gay Brian Epstein, who became the Beatles Manager (and probably the greatest rock and roll manager ever) because, according to their biographer, he "fancied them" - John admitted it but later insisted that he said it "as a joke"What's the big deal, anyway? Oddly enough, prior to signing on with the Beatles, Brian Epstein tried to become manager for young David Gilmour (of Pink Floyd fame) group "Jokers Wild" since Gilmour was so hot, but Gilmour got a bad vibe from Epstein, which was correct, since Epstein really was trying to get him into bed. Odd how rock history could have been different if David Gilmour had been a bit more open minded. |

Wednesday, August 05, 2009 4:24:05 AM Shame Yoko's not sexy, otherwise it wouldn't be too bad sitting on the middle of that, especially as one would probably be high and not notice it's a guy's hand.jigishaaalal - "have u ever seen this before in ur life" No and I'm not going to now either, stupid spam whore. |

Tuesday, August 04, 2009 10:21:48 PM WaywardSon, the civil rights movement had no affiliation with the hippy movement of sexual revolution and rampant drug usage. |

Tuesday, August 04, 2009 8:19:41 PM So, they were all just dealers? I don't get it.I was in Austin for four years and that is pretty much hippie central (other than San Francisco), from the leftovers to new ones. Trust me, they don't work. |

Tuesday, August 04, 2009 7:39:45 PM "rybo, Southerners in the U.S. weren't really into the counter-culture movement of the 60's which was kind of based on being the opposite of conservatie..."Yeah, people in the South were busy working. An idea foreign to hippies. Well, until reality set in and they became investment bankers. It's hard to do drugs all day and just sit around on a blanket in a park when you're working all day to put food on the table. |
