Thursday, August 27, 2009 2:24:48 PM I'm worried that this will happen to me in the future...Not the suing part, but not finding a job after years of study at college. |

Thursday, August 06, 2009 11:13:03 AM If you go to a crappy university or an ivy, a 2.7 is bad because they give everyone good grades. If you go to a real university that curves every class, has good students, and doesn't pull punches, a 2.7 isn't horrible. It is just a little below average. So to everyone who was all "2.7?!", the answer is, yes, I am judging your university. |

Wednesday, August 05, 2009 12:02:08 PM "In response to the caption, the girl. The lawyer not only already has a job, s/he'll get paid whether the case is won or lost."That isn't true. Civil prosecuting attorneys often work on contingency when they are suing for money, usually because the people who hire them don't have any money to pay them unless they win. |

Wednesday, August 05, 2009 6:43:25 AM i keep a 4.0 and i'm not guranteed to get a job! i'm almost actually guranteed to *not* get a job because no matter how good i do, when i was a teen i caught 2 felonies doin some ol dumb s-h-i-t and they won't take it off my record.. ever.. and companies will NOT hire convicted felons. plus i got caught with weed over the weekend so theres another misdemenor. another probation. i think i'm gonna sue the cops and the D.O.C. |

Wednesday, August 05, 2009 2:42:43 AM She should get a life. I left college a year ago, not getting a job in the degree i studied for, and then, last month i got the boot from my pooty shop job as the company went under. I'm job hunting my ass off without suing anybody and only 500 in my account as i've had to use up all my savings paying for my freakin car. Funnily enough, a lot of people are having this problem too but you don't hear them tryna pass on the blame to some organisation who helped you try and make something of yourself. |

Wednesday, August 05, 2009 1:56:13 AM "They favor more toward students that got a 4.0."No, really? I can't believe that she graduated with a 2.7, some places won't let you out without at least a 3.0 in business. As everyone else is saying shes stupid to think she was going to finish school and get a job right away, people who have worked a hell of a lot harder, with more experience under their belt can't even find jobs along with the rest of us. Besides I wouldn't want to hire some dumb woman who possibly sues every time she doesn't get her way. I'd also much rather have someone with a higher GPA because it shows they work hard and know wtf they're doing. |

Wednesday, August 05, 2009 1:35:06 AM Here in the UK, where you can put a sign on a bus stop and it becomes a university, being a graduate does NOT automatically lead to a well paying job (if you can get one at all). The vast majority of graduates will end up doing average jobs like bar staff, call centre staff etc., especially with the plethora of nonsense degrees available - one Oxbridge university famously put a sign above the toilet paper dispenser "Sociology degrees - help yourself"Quite honestly pet, suck it up. I'm registered with a recruitment agency whose sole job it is to find me a job - that doesn't mean I'm sitting on my arse not looking for a job myself. It's been more than three months for me too! (and it's my birthday today...) |

Wednesday, August 05, 2009 12:35:30 AM ao for the couple months of searching she did she wants her full tuition plus 2 grand? hell even working at almost minimum wage you could make that 2 thousand dollars in that time while looking for a job, not to mention everything else every other person has said so far. I hate the human race |
