"I'm simply stating that modern republican policy has demonstratably failed over the last 60 years."
Right... simply stating without anything to back up what you are saying.

anyone notice that the majority of people speaking ill of Obama are from midwest or southern U.S. in other words (Rednecks or "uneducated douches") think about that

Somewhere in our history our government became less for the people by the people and more for the "big business by the big business". We don't have a government anylonger, our politicians don't care any longer, they just want to be the boss, and all are ill equipped to run this country.

They take a college course, get a degree, play local politican, then run for president.

When things aren't running right in society, it's time to start from scratch. Screw everything and start over. 0 balance 0 everything. Make it once again for the people and by the people, not for the business and by the business.

And as people said about Former President Bush. I didn't vote for obama, so don't blame me.

I'm still impressed that Steve Urkel grew up to become president of the United States.

Ahh, Baalthazaq. Throwing such a pissy fit that you forgot how to read.

At least you have enough sense to stay away from the knee-jerk criticism that this poster is somehow racist (which clearly, it is not).

Your summation of world events to try and make a "Bush=Hitler" comparison even laughably legitimate shows me that you've never even read a book on world history.

Fortunately, most people get the poster (if you don't), whether they agree with it or not. It has nothing to do with equating a socialist to a comic book character, or a movie character.

Obama's a socialist hahahahaha.

Oh wait your serious, that's even funnier

Obama may be centre left, just like Tony (scum-bag) Blair was but he is in no way a socialist.

Also stop bitching about his healthcare reforms, Britain's NHS may not be perfect but at lest we don't need to worry about how much a life saving operation is going to cost.

Baalthazaq, people on my side of the fence who did blame Clinton predicted this economic slump way before Bush took office. Your argument that we 'defended' Bush because of Clinton arguments is moot.

Not to mention that after 911 for nearly a year we had NO economy. The slump was predicted because Clinton was the moron that allowed anyone to get a home loan, and when anyone got a home loan people lost homes. Somehow though, in your mind, Bush was supposed to provide jobs and economic security for people who couldn't get a home loan, yet did thanks to Clinton.

Why bring up the past when you know it is idiotic?

Also Mannord:

If you put a picture of the Joker on the cover of something, then put "Socialist" underneath, it seems like you're suggesting one is the other.

It is also pretty telling of your mindset if your impression of what a Socialist looks like is a Comic book villain.

Furthermore, I don't think the Hitler comparisons were because of his political stance. You cause the death of thousands of people and respond with an "oops", you get a Hitler comparison. There is at least a connect with the real world there.

You... plan economic reforms... and get a Batman villain... with a socialist stamp on the bottom. There is no connection between the 3. There is a complete disconnect from what you think the world is, and how it really is.

It's as meaningful as a Limbaugh poster with bunny ears and the word asparagus tagged on the bottom, with a bunch of people who go "Lol, exactly" because it happens to be someone they dislike.

Banana, reread my post, you've inserted every descriptive word you used, and ignored that I wasn't a Democrat 10 months ago, or that I'm not claiming they're evil because they're Republicans.

I'm simply stating that modern republican policy has demonstratably failed over the last 60 years. I'm merely stating that Republicans have had 8 years of patience for an imbecile, and 8 month of impatience for an adequate (adequate was the adjective I used, not amazing) President.

But hey, with a bunch of lies, you made you point well. Care to try it again with some truth instead?

LOL! These posts are FUNNY!

Baalthazaq...you're sooo mad...lol

"The joker wasn't a socialist! He was an *anarchist* (links provided)."

Looking back on the previous 8 years of American politics, you could (clearly) argue that Bush wasn't a member of the Nazi party, but that didn't stop all of the Bush-Hitler posters from flying around.

Looking back at many of the "Kill Bush" posters, I would have to say that this poster is pretty benign in comparison.

I think the idea here is that the protester considers Obama a joker (i.e. a clown) and feels that his policies are socialist. This encourages debate.

Crying "racist" (noose) is just a desperate and cynical response, and needs no response.

Since it is apparent that the Democrats are not going to reverse any of these Bush-era incursions against liberty, we can see what President Obama really meant by "change." While breaking every promise he made to his supporters regarding war, torture, and domestic spying, he has launched an all-out assault on what is left in America of the individual rights to property and free enterprise. His American Recovery and Reinvestment Act handout to existing welfare programs instead of to the "shovel-ready projects" that he claimed the bill would fund, his health care "reform" initiative that will merely attempt to implement programs that have already failed in Europe and Canada, and his destruction of contract law in stiffing secured creditors in the GM bankruptcy are only the beginning.

"Complaining about taxes at this stage is like complaining about all the water the firemen are "wasting" in putting out the fire. "

it is not about taxes it is about lying. you have people like you saying that this group of politicians are outstanding, fantastic, truthful, wonderful people because they have a (D) in front of their name but the ones with an (R) are just horrible, racist, sexist, homophobes because of that (R). guess what ITS ALL OF THEM!!! Rs/Ds.. it does not matter. i dont know when we began trusting them before ourselves, our neighbors, or our families. the media makes people out as right wing nuts when the question their representatives, but they are not, they are exercising their constitutional rights in a peaceful manner, they are not extremist just concerned Americans.
