Thursday, July 30, 2009 11:34:34 PM Itsalwysunny, I being Canadian and having been to a strip club will answer your question. We do NOT pelt our women with dollar coins or 2 dollar coins as the bouncers will pelt our faces with their fists. HOWEVER we ARE allowed to toss said coins at the girls parts when they setup little targets on their parts for you to hit, if you hit the targets you get a prize. And if you want you can give them bills but you have to set it on the dance floor NO TOUCHING ALLOWED! But you would need to spend alot so the other girls know who to dance in front of. |

Tuesday, July 28, 2009 11:20:57 PM I have asked this question before and no one has answered it for me.....if you go to a strip club in Canada do you pelt girls with one dollar coins being that your ones and so on are coins or are you forced due to the pooty situation to splurge and throw tens and twenties? if so Canada is definitely the place to be a stripper |

Tuesday, July 28, 2009 3:00:31 PM "i know no one cares, but i said that the strippers were dehumanized. that means that the act is being done to them. i was kind of rephrasing objectified in a more dramatic way."'objectified' is the same thing, as objects by definition aren't human. If anything, 'objectified' is a more extreme term than 'dehumanised'. You're missing the point I and others were making: You say that strippers are non-human and objects. That's your opinion. Personally, I think it's a repulsive opinion. I certainly don't share it. When you say strippers are merely objects, things, not people, not even animals, you're not speaking for other people. Is that really how you think of strippers? |

Tuesday, July 28, 2009 2:53:56 PM "The whole "18 is acceptable" is such a complete joke. It's ridiculous to say that a girl is completely ready to be an adult one day (her birthday) but not the day before... It's different for every teen / young adult."That's true, but what better system is there? Should people have to pass tests in order to prove they are mature enough to be granted adult status? If so, what tests? Who administers them? What happens to people who don't pass them by, say, 25? Or ever? While declaring a person an adult on a rather arbritrarily chosen birthday is obviously a rather silly method, it does have some advantages. If you can come up with a better system, write it here. |

Tuesday, July 28, 2009 2:48:39 PM "Angilion.. Men ARE defending it:"paulmvr, the claim was that is it TYPICAL for men to defend (and, by implication, want to do it themselves) watching VERY YOUNG GIRLS nude in a sexual context. That is not what anyone is doing here. Do you really think that it is typical for a man to openly be a paedophile? Typical? Seriously? The claim is at best delusional. |

Tuesday, July 28, 2009 2:46:05 PM "Wow!!! Please tell me where in any of my comments did I say that its typical for a man to be a pedophile??!"You've written it repeatedly. What do you think it means when you say it's typical for a man to want to look at very young girls naked in a sexual context, and to defend that? |

Tuesday, July 28, 2009 2:23:41 PM Call it what you want "objectified or dehumanized" The fact is you want to deny someone with free will the right to have the job of their choosing. We're not talking about sex trafficking here. We're talking about jobs. If what they do offends you then don't go to the strip bar. That simple. |

Tuesday, July 28, 2009 9:45:59 AM paulmvr, let Angilion believe whatever he wants, "It's very clearly bigotry and lying. I did not misread it - it is indeed very clear. It is also still publically available, so anyone can check for themself. You said it's typical for a man to be a paeophile (sexually attracted to, as you phrased it, very young girls) and to defend paedophilia...and you don't realise that is untrue? Whether you believe it or not, that makes you a bigot. You claimed men are defending it here, and that isn't true. That makes you a liar too. Wow!!! Please tell me where in any of my comments did I say that its typical for a man to be a pedophile??! Please show me where in my comments did i even mention that word besides this one? Your the liar for making up words I never even mentioned. I said "its so tipical for a man to actually defend that fact that its ok to look at a very young girl's body to some of the comments made about minors. I didn't say men in general are pedophiles. |

Tuesday, July 28, 2009 8:36:58 AM That was HILARIOUS. Those clips of the girl dancing were ridiculous on a grand scale. Good job local news, may your production value never rise. |
