Lol could that cat-o-nine tails really be used without it whipping back and taking chunks out of yourself?

Also are lighters really hard to get in prison these days? My brother was part of a group who made covers for lighters out of toothpicks. But maybe they were just more trusted than the murderers and rapists...

This isn't just prison stuff. When I was a teen, zip guns were common because ammo was cheap and there was no Patriot Act.

Ah, good times.

Guitar strings, kittycatz? You could do some pretty good damage just with those. While playing guitar once a string broke and whipped me in the face. Left a pretty good cut.

Also, lawl at the muff towel thing.

For those wondering how prisoners get the materials for all these things, the answer is this: prisoners aren't allowed to have much but they are usually allowed to have hobbies. Radio kits, model boat kits, guitar strings, and other easily-"kit-bashed" items are available either through the correctional facility store or from outside sources by approval of the facility. If you want to see prisoners' ingenuity in action, use these links:

"anyone else notice the your-you're mistake on the Rash Knuckles? nobody? just me?....oh well..."

cant see the mistake, dont think the idea is to use to hit, but to scrape them with it sideways, like a cheese grater....

i was in a cell for 9 hours once and believe me, its so drating boring all i could think about was how to fasion weapons from the air vents, and how i could climb up the tall walls to reach the tube light for the glass since they make those places hard for you to kill yourself or harm anyone
