Victory 7:an ak-47 has a MUCH larger round than a 9 mm. Yah, it shoots a 7.62 round, but that only means the bullet is thicker. However, the AK has a much higher muzzle velocity, a longer bullet, AND a pistol has a less streamlined round. google it. |

I'll ignore your disgusting grammatical errors for the purposes of this argument. Furthermore, there is a vast difference between what is said and what is implied. Don't be a fool, you were implying that self-loading rifles such as the Ak-47 (not an assault rifle mid you, because the civilian legal version is not fully automatic) are massively dangerous objects which will either be stolen or used in violent ways at the mere mention of the name. How many times have children picked up Ak's from their homes and shot somebody? God-damned rare, that's what. Simply because you possess something doesn't mean you'll misuse it. I've heard this many times, that when lots of people buy guns, suddenly everyone is on the lookout for murder. Are these people irresponsible criminals? No, they're just like you and me. Considering the fact that the USA has an Imperial Military Force that is the most powerful military in history (in comparison to its own age) there is no need for private ownership of guns.
In addition, the larges robbery of civil liberties coincided with the most liberal guns laws (Patriot Act and the Bush administration). So that argument is out the window. Yours in Plasma,

It could be argued that the second amendment does not apply to the USA today due to the first part of it. A well-regulated militia is no longer necessary to the security of the USA, therefore the right to bear arms no longer applies.That'll set the cat among the pigeons! |

I did not say anyone who owns a gun is retarded, I said those hundreds of people who are going to get guns, have a huge risk of it being stolen by their kids or used for non defensive purposes. @BrioCloudA standard pistol is usually between 9mm and .45 inch (11mm or so.) An Ak-47 fires a 7.62mm bullet. Handguns have larger calibers, therefore, you lose. If you don't know anything about modern weapons, you have no business even stepping into an argument about them. Your argument also plays into the notion that every one who owns a firearm is retarded, or at least a hood gangster. Both of which are untrue. You can have your tyranny, I'll take my freedom. Ever heard of kids stealing weapons from their parents? I don't give a dam how good of a background check is done. Putting a gun of that caliber in a household is unnecessary. |

dragonshadozhe gives vouchers for guns, not guns, people still need to go through the proper background check to get the guns from a gun store.... so with or without him those killers could have gotten there guns.
Plus, I strongly doubt they did go through the legal gun obtaining procedure that this guys vouchers are used through.
