Wednesday, July 29, 2009 9:17:46 PM Victory 7:an ak-47 has a MUCH larger round than a 9 mm. Yah, it shoots a 7.62 round, but that only means the bullet is thicker. However, the AK has a much higher muzzle velocity, a longer bullet, AND a pistol has a less streamlined round. google it. |

Tuesday, July 28, 2009 6:48:23 PM Going by your reasoning, pistols are more dangerous because of their caliber, which of course is untrue. |

Tuesday, July 28, 2009 6:47:00 PM @BrioCloud I'll ignore your disgusting grammatical errors for the purposes of this argument. Furthermore, there is a vast difference between what is said and what is implied. Don't be a fool, you were implying that self-loading rifles such as the Ak-47 (not an assault rifle mid you, because the civilian legal version is not fully automatic) are massively dangerous objects which will either be stolen or used in violent ways at the mere mention of the name. How many times have children picked up Ak's from their homes and shot somebody? God-damned rare, that's what. Simply because you possess something doesn't mean you'll misuse it. I've heard this many times, that when lots of people buy guns, suddenly everyone is on the lookout for murder. Are these people irresponsible criminals? No, they're just like you and me. Also, I claimed I won because you were stating that an Ak-47 is a rifle of some large caliber, and therefore extremely dangerous, even though pistols possess larger ones st |

Tuesday, July 28, 2009 7:08:04 AM I like how she was pinning him down on his own stupidity, but let him off at the end when she had him. If Jesus showed up today, people like this guy would lynch the "unemployed hippy communist pacifist!"@Angilion, you are completely correct, the states are supposed to have militias that ensure protection. Considering the fact that the USA has an Imperial Military Force that is the most powerful military in history (in comparison to its own age) there is no need for private ownership of guns. In addition, the larges robbery of civil liberties coincided with the most liberal guns laws (Patriot Act and the Bush administration). So that argument is out the window. Tuesday, July 28, 2009 12:42:33 AM It could be argued that the second amendment does not apply to the USA today due to the first part of it. A well-regulated militia is no longer necessary to the security of the USA, therefore the right to bear arms no longer applies. That'll set the cat among the pigeons! |

Monday, July 27, 2009 10:30:28 PM @Victory7Oh great, we can now rationalize the storage of an Ak-47 from the size of its bullets. LOL. WTF?!?! Logic? Ak-47 bullets < another gun. = I lose? LOL?! I did not say anyone who owns a gun is retarded, I said those hundreds of people who are going to get guns, have a huge risk of it being stolen by their kids or used for non defensive purposes. Did I say you can't OWN guns? I have no idea that not believing in Ak-47 in households mean I want Tyranny. Hahahaha. Geezus. I might go to Europe to get away from idiots like you. |

Monday, July 27, 2009 10:05:08 PM First, you need a license, second I think ak-47's are weapons that are not available to buy.(too long to watch whole thing of him talking so saw up to about 2:30) |

Monday, July 27, 2009 9:49:56 PM "If more law abiding citizens owned firearms "not necessarily AKs" I believe there would be less home invasions, robberies, and murders. The accidental deaths from guns will be far less than the murders a criminal would commit."That is not the case elsewhere in the world, so what do you think makes the USA so very different? |

Monday, July 27, 2009 9:46:50 PM Do the guns come mounted on the car? Gun on the roof, video camera on the gun (feeding to a display in front of the driver), trigger on the steering wheel. To protect against carjacking, obviously. |

Monday, July 27, 2009 9:42:39 PM "if he wants to help people protect themselves why not sell bullet proof windows with the cars "He wants to sell more cars. Free assault rifles gets far more publicity than free bullet-proof windows would, and it's much cheaper for him. The defence argument is just part of the publicity. He has no control over what people do with the guns afterwards. |

Monday, July 27, 2009 9:32:44 PM @BrioCloudA standard pistol is usually between 9mm and .45 inch (11mm or so.) An Ak-47 fires a 7.62mm bullet. Handguns have larger calibers, therefore, you lose. If you don't know anything about modern weapons, you have no business even stepping into an argument about them. Your argument also plays into the notion that every one who owns a firearm is retarded, or at least a hood gangster. Both of which are untrue. You can have your tyranny, I'll take my freedom. Move to Europe if you hate freedom so much. |

Monday, July 27, 2009 8:56:43 PM Tatervent. Your an idiot. This is pure stupidity to give out guns. Ever heard of irresponsible kids stealing drugs and pills from their parents? Ever heard of kids stealing weapons from their parents? I don't give a dam how good of a background check is done. Putting a gun of that caliber in a household is unnecessary. |

Monday, July 27, 2009 8:40:47 PM Background checks are good and all, but if someone is preparing to commit a first crime, what exactly is going to come up? |

Monday, July 27, 2009 6:23:32 PM dragonshadozhe gives vouchers for guns, not guns, people still need to go through the proper background check to get the guns from a gun store.... so with or without him those killers could have gotten there guns. Plus, I strongly doubt they did go through the legal gun obtaining procedure that this guys vouchers are used through.
dumbass.
